Abstracta:

CaE.Innovations has together with Abstracta Ab and designer Staffan Holm developed a new combined light and fan adjuster unit for there new Zen Pod.

Zen Pod is a quiet room module in 3 different sizes, that are more than merely a retreat, a place to catch one´s breath. More than just a peace and quiet. It is a space to be enjoyed -elegantly and sparingly designed using welcoming, sympathetic materials such as wood, wool, glass, aluminum and steel.

It has been designed with careful attention to detail, as well overall appearance. The ventilator fan is positioned in the ceiling nest to the light, thus making it barely visible at all, both controlled by an elegant designed adjustment-unit.

It has been my work to engineer the unit according to Staffan Holm´s design.

We have combined the adjustment of the fan level and up to 3 different light sources, (depending on which size of Zen Pod) in one twist wheel and one push-and twist wheel. Illuminated with LED: s to create an ambient light appearance in the unit towards the user, all packed in to one elegant unit.
